DSL Pricing

DSL includes: Paradyne 6211 DSL router, free shipping, dynamic IP, up to 5 email accounts, newsgroups

Service is month-to-month. There is no yearly contract or early termination penalty, and price does not go up after the first year. There is no additional software to load on your computer if you have Windows XP, Macintosh OSX, or a router.

What speeds are available?

ADSL is "asymmetric" with faster downloads than uploads. There are 3 speed/price tiers:

• up to 1.5 Mb/s downstream and 384 kb/s upstream
• up to 3 Mb/s downstream and 512 kb/s upstream
• up to 6 Mb/s downstream and 608 kb/s upstream

Actual speed depends on length and condition of your phone line. The fastest speed tier requires that you be within a mile of the telephone office or remote terminal. If you are more than 2.5 miles away, DSL may not be available at your location.
